well i guess its that time again lol new car new things etc etc had it 2months now
been wanting a diesel for a while and the civic was sitting doing nothing
i used the polo and the corsa so ive been wanting one off these for a year now

fabia vrs in black 130bhp 220 torque pd engine
got it for 4800
sold the civic yesterday its away down south

anyways onwards and upwards i love these cars and i know how quick they are mapped so plans are
ENGINE
standard at the minute so plans are
panel filter
pd160 intake

2.5 inch turbo back exhaust no boxes
fmic
smf and uprated clutch
hybrid turbo
looking for around 230bhp and 380lbft

EXTERIOR
porche d90s
coilovers ORDERED
cupra splitter ORDERED
big mouth bumper DID THIS YESTERDAY
dewiper ill do it this week
bump strips off DONE YESTERDAY
depo headlights
tinted windows
then god knows

INTERIOR
dont really know not much to be honest
,may get the black leather interior
wrap heater surrounds DONE YESTERDAY
double din headunit
boost gauge etc

any ways pictures

well got the car back together 1 exploded cv joint later but looks good








before anyone mentions yes the crash bar is off it atm as im making my intercooler kit up so will be modifying it to fit the crash bar and the small matter i lost the feckin crash bar bolts lol

couple of clean pics also sprayed my engine cover up and lost my grille on the bypass lol

so i'm making my own grille now well have simply because i wasnt paying 50quid for abit of plastic






and how it will look with d90s on


i.m remapping car in a couple weeks and took some pics with this instagram malarky lol

Grille looks horrendous, as does 'big mouth' without the intercooler there

well got another grille standard one again for nothing so going to paint that up at some point and fit it
also got my mufflerectomy done the other day sounds good want my decat now lol

car goes away today to get the windows tinted and ordered some wind deflectors












thats as far as ive got at the minute well ive just had the windows tinted and ordered wind deflectors and a pollen filter

also on order are
new blue wing mirror glass mines has the heater elements gone so its messed up the mirrors
headunit dvd player
new bumper mesh
vrs car badge set wheels steering wheel boot badge and new grille badge
new mikalor boost clamps
lamin-x for headlights
square front number plate
magnets for the number plate
2xboost hoses for my front mount intercooler i'm doing next month

think thats about it so far

car is also remapped now aswell 140quid remap from a mate now running 173bhp and 295lbft

there cheap now reliable and can be tuned well quick for a diesel and the comfyiest seats ave sat in imo

Some nice touches there mate apart from the awful grille. I love my vrs and you're right, when mapped they go very well.

Shit that was expensive!

I paid near 2k less for mine and got all the goodies.


Have you checked the rear doors? They are known for leaking, easy fix just takes a bit of fiddling.

Lovely cars though, mine is remapped and goes very very well, and still does 55+mpg.

i get 60mpg to 70mpg easy my rear door leaks yea waiting till weathers abit clearer then ill seal it up i wanted a standard 1 owner car to build myself for a change instead off someone elses fuck ups least this way i know what im getting lol

anyways update time wind deflectors arrived fitted them cleaned the car and got a hold of a standard grille in silver so

painted that up and fitted that also fitted a pipercross filter will be making my standard airbox top to fit over it in the near future

now just waiting on new badges etc etc and polybush the full motor as there all gubbed

Every1 has an opinion fela a like it 4 the time being dnt want it to look like every other vrs down my way over time when i change more u may like it my main goal is a 230-260bhp diesel hybrid

Get a video up of the mufflerectomy

Also don't you think the car feels slower with the air filter on? I had the same filter on my Ibiza FR PD130 and just didn't feel as torquey?

I took my filter off my pd130 as it felt laggy, went to a green cotton element but now using standard Ibiza ones again as found the difference was very minimal

Maybe abit laggy bt then again feels more responsive im going to make the top of the airbox fit over it the noise is fantastic of the filter though lol eh ill try get a vid up i have 1 one my fuckbook

Fair does, mine is standard bar the map.

Also, don't rely on the computer for your MPG figures, sat at 70mph on the M5, for over 150 miles, I get 101mpg apparently.

some bits have arrived some aint still waiting on intercooler and my vrs badges
front bumper mesh has appeared new headunit new square plate and some sealant for my rear door leak
also took the pipercross filter off as it slowed it down alot lol
