Sounds like you have done one of my tricks.

Got bored whilst sat at home one night, Had a few too many and ended up on ebay looking at crap. Then bid on a random item and wander what the hell it is when it actually turns up!

It is a cabinet for a games machine.
Can tell by the side peices (curved ones) and the rectangle with circles cut out, for controls.
