The first time in weeks you've bothered with fixtures and 80% of them will be called off!

if any premier league fixtures get called off then the club should be fined for either:

A) letting the police dictate things to them.

B) being too cheap to bother getting underpitch heating.

Do you actually think any clubs in PL don't have undersoil heating????

unsure tbh. wigan seem a likely suspect.

wasn't one fixture cancelled last year due to the police saying the roads/paths outside the ground weren't safe?

Wigan have one of the best systems because its a dual-use stadium!

It is usually health and safety ruled by the police getting games called off!

I was suprised Leicester v M'boro survived last night, the pitch was fine but there were barely any fans because of the roads around the ground

thing is the ground and pitch maybe perfectly playable but the surrounding areas adding another 30,000-40,000 people trying to get somewhere in cars or on foot probably isnt the best thing hence why games get called off. cant really argue with that being sensible.

You have to have undersoil heating in PL, Championship too I think.

Wigan's ground is pretty modern too.

Emirates has been called off before due to surrounding areas not being safe.
