Splash Landings is ok, I wouldn't class it as a waterpark, more as a glorified indoor pool with some slides.
A four year old will love it though !

Hotel buffet breakfast is awesome
Can see the slides etc from the dining area, didn't look huge, but as Mike said should be more than enough for a 4 year old.

been with our 7 and 5 year old last year, they loved it. there a big platform/climbing frame thing with hoses and buckets pouring water and stuff like that. A couple of flumes and also an inflatable tube type windy river rapid slide.

It's the best we have for all round experience. Thorpe Park has better thrill rides though.

Took from local paper
quote: The ride, which is the resort’s biggest ever investment, will feature a track the length of 10 football fields, gut-wrenching 30-metre drops and hurtling speeds of up to 85km per hour.

You'd probably be better going to Waterworld in Stoke if you're heading this way anyway

Frends have been a couple of times and rave about it.
Yet to go myself though.
For saying its so close, I take it for granted that its not going anywhere and never really get round to arrange going

But is that one attached to a hotel with themed rooms Tom?
Think if I've heard right, If you stop at the hotel, you get access to splash landings and theme park (before other guests).
