In the bin?

They are ok and work, just hide it instead of having a silly coloured hole sticking out of the bumper. They look shocking.

Won't be noticeable no, just like putting the air filter on, wont notice it really. But the cold air feed will help kept the air temp down going in the engine.

TBH (psychological or not) I noticed a difference on mine.
However it is mounted in the headlight

As said, dont go hacking anything up to make it noticeable. Just looks daft.
You can get them routed through the engine bay to the same effect.

I didn't feel any difference with my intake in the lights what so ever but like andycorsasport said it will help to keep engine bay temps down .

just not using a headlight on mine, suppose that's an advantage of not having it on the road... haven't yet decided if there's going to be an air filter in its place of just a cold air feed strate in, no filter

a mate of mine had a few mph over the finish line advantage going from a headlight in with a pipercross cotton cone filter to no headlight no filter, pipe out the front. it made a difference!!

i was going to make an air intake out of a headlight just haven't had chance yet

i run a 3 inch duct to the towing eye section. cut alll the plastic away but kept the fins.
looks discrete and works, just ran it up the inner wheel arch to the air filter.
will post a pic or 2 later

but a duct, just runs to the air filter. doesnt attach to it. so its not technically sucking the duct, the duct only works when your moving, the forced air goes up.

daves white nova doesn't run one he has no issues with a pipe sticking strate out the front too, obviously wouldn't recommend it on the road.

totally see what your saying but there's little chance of shit getting up there. 1 its on a strip and if your winning there's nothing infront of you and 2 the plastic mesh shaped bit inside the afm should stop stuff getting in so to speak. i do see your point though. but it obviously works better
