I sympathize a little. Lambert obviously is cash strapped. Picking youth and building for the future. Having to leave bent out so he doesn't trigger transfer clauses. Not an easy job. Shouldn't have left Norwich really.

I think the entire perception of Villa needs to change from the chairman to the fans to the players to the managers. They don't have a pot to piss in and despite a golden era they are not a big club.

What they need just now is 4 experienced Premiership players, they have no leadership and next to no experience throughout the team. Opponents are running over the top of them.
