An Alloy Duratec Rocker Cover.

Any ideas where?

Think the early Duratecs had them then they changes to plastic.

Put that before you posted what engine. Why does it have to be alloy?

The early Duratecs came with an alloy one I believe.

Someone we know who also has a Birkin has sourced one from a scrappy. So now my Dad wants one too.

Drop Part-Box an email, they're usually good at sourcing things that aren't findable to most users.

The engine with the alloy cam cover are known as "silvertops". You need 1 from an early Escort or Mondeo. Both the 1.8 and 2.0 cam covers will fit, but you will need the gasket for it too.

They also have some mondeo v6 ones forsale, so may have others in stock / coming in stock.

May be another option t0 check, but the Mazda 323F 1.8 may use a similar engine, and I do believe they come alloy rocker covers.
