Whiteline RARB
Stage 3 courtney map
Courtney Intercooler
Remus with Sports cat removed
CDTI Airbox
So first of to get it down the unit
Shot of the engine bay
Time to get to work, First remove this...
Went to pick up some bits, weather was crap saw this on the way.... whoops
New bits, engine mounts
Guage conversion
Mocal Oil cooler
Alcon 6 pots 363mm irrc

Carbon boot spoiler done by streamline carbon (Mark elsworth old one) Was easier to swap boot lids
Few pictures of the alcon 6 pots
Took the wheels off for refurb, not just a blow over....

Would have described my VXR as anything but fragile! Took 3 years of abuse and 25,000 miles at different levels of tune without any real problems

I beg to differ, my car had over £3.5k spent on repairs and it only just turned 4yrs old with less than 30k on the clock.
I still think about buying another one then my head rules my heart lol

I wouldn't say they are.... I have owned mine 2 years from 15k standard to stage 3 for another 15k and all its done is popped a boost pipe off once....

Modify the lower ball joint heat sheild as the Alcons caught them
All fitted with stud and nut conversion
Next was engine mounts and Radiator

That saw why I winked.
The A/C condensor looks very bent, is that because of the bigger intercooler?

Had abit more time tonight, First job was to do cambelt kit and water pump as it was due anytime now...
Old parts
New water pump and cambelt kit including pulleys fitted
Next was to fit the Vibe engine mounts, As Dave wants to keep his A/C the mount needed a little modding due to the A/C pipe going under it.
Painted the bracket where cut and fitted longer bolts as the standard ones were to short..

What sort of power and torque can they take safely? Not sure what the standard power of a VXR burg is?

M32 can take good power if the bearing mod is done mate. There chocolate otherwise.
Looks really good that dale. Nice motor that and a credit to your mate
