suprised the coffin dodgers didn't have a collective heart attack
i also get annoyed when people try to join motorways at ridiculous speeds. part of the reason is because the driving test doesn't incorporate motorways imo.
i did pass plus which taught me a lot more than i ever learned in my lessons.

i know the junction, its a fucking nightmare. very easy to get into that lane without having much time or space to join the next. its a full speed lane rather than a slip road

I usually come off the slip road at higher speed than middle lane

it shouldnt need pass plus to teach people to join the motorway as close to the speed limit as possible!

Tow a trailer, you'll learn even more.
I actually like it when people join fast and get the hell out of the way. Sitting alongside expecting you to move over is more annoying and dangerous.
If I'm doing a constant speed and not overtaking I shouldn't have to change lane just because someone joining can't decide whether to slot in behind or in front.

Nice PIT maneuver.
What goes throught peoples minds, go over the white lines, hit the truck, slow down and get behind, or speed up in the first place?
I think everyone should be re-tested every 3 years.

Same here. If your joining a motorway or any slip or junction you have to match the speed of the traffic you are joining. The driving on outlr roads these days is shocking.

It's not so much joining at full speed, sometimes that's not possible, it's knowing how to react when you can't. I had it earlier on, about 6 cars on a short slip road and I was in the left hand lane with nowhere to go, ended up being forced to brake by a van that pulled in front of me which no doubt compounded the problem behind me. Had the cars on the slip road not all grouped together and given each other some space, it would've been a much safer and easier task to merge onto the carriageway. As it was, the lack of available space just led to panicking and causing problems for those already on the carriageway.
