Anyone gone through this recently? Had my own place and now back at the parents and feeling pretty low.
I finished with her as she was a bit obsessive and didnt like me going out etc and everything had to be about her.. you know the type...
Just feels shit on quiet nights like this

Been there done that. Had a place with her and had to sort all that shit out too. Back home too at my mums, which at 32 is shit but got to be done, I need to save a deposit so thats what im doing currently.

Just feel down . I could easily go back give her a massive hug and everything will be alright.. But I know a month down the line it'll be the same situation. She's a lovely girl really as well ...

yeah me and my ex split about 4 weeks ago. engaged and had are own place, i was left to sort everything out and couldnt afford it on my own so now back at my parents. its not too bad, just try and keep yourself busy, that what iam doing

Will be difficult whenever you're alone and bored, so just try and keep busy with mates and family.

Sucks man when I split with my ex of 5 years it destroyed me! We did everything together so even going to town shopping ect felt weird like I didn't have my own identity 
I went the gym 6 days a week, met loads of new mates and some of the girls helped me through it  then met my now wife who I've been with 9 years and have a 2 year old and wouldn't change a thing! Things happen for a reason fella

Same last week for me, Splitting up is never fun even if you do it yourself. Especially when you dont hate each other if it's more of an incompatability thing but theres still feelings there, sad times man

Even if you did do the splitting up, it'll be shit for a while. It would maybe be different if you did it because she was horrible and you couldn't stand her anymore. But when it's someone you still love a lot but you just don't work, it will feel crap. Doesn't make you weak or anything. Keeping busy is probably the best advice anyone could give you

It's all about making a clean cut.
Lived with a girl for three years. 2 good years, 6 so-so months and 6 terrible months.
When the decision had been made I left the place for a day and told her to take what she though was her fair share and leave the key. Done! Didn't see her for 3-4 years after that.

Is very difficult was my with ex for 6 years and she lived abroad with me. went tits up and I ended up back at my parents which was very depressing. Took a year until was happy again and now a year later never look back. I kept doing the same as you what you mentioned and trying again with her. it was never the same and now I realise how absolutely shit it was with her..no future there at all. Just power on through mate. keep busy and whatever you do, dont look at pics or her FB!! I looked at her fb sometimes and set me back months. Sounds crazy too but get rid of things that remind you of her. Dont worry you will look back and think thank fuck out of that.
