Few of you know a lot more then I do on detailing and products so following on from Ecks thread I currently have this list ready to order have I missed any think?
And do you rate the chem guys wheel wax was over poor boys? Seems it'll last longer and provide a better protection then the poor boys or are they both the same really?
And the bilberry wheel cleaner the best one to go for? Read a few reviews on line they leave the wheels tarnished slightly? But want an acid free 'safe' wheel cleaner

Most wheel cleaners will tarnish the wheels if you leave them on too long or don't rinse them off properly. AutoGlym Clean Wheels is a bugger if you leave it on for more than a minute, for example. Just make sure you rinse it off well and all will be well.
Good haul you've got there!

One thing i like to keep a lot of is buffing off towels and applicators, i always use a separate applicator and towel for each product.

I seem to buy a pack of 5 everytime I order a product. Got hundreds of the bastards now, and seem to use more and more each time I wash the car!

I usually demote the old bodywork towels to interior towels once they have been used a few times. Seem to have shit load of towels for my seats and dash now though.

Also to add to that list get a spray bottle with a chemical proof foaming head for the Bilberry and more than one foam applicator as you will drop it at some stage
Have you already got a clay bar and lube?!?

most of the time i get carbon from the tailpipes on them which doesn't like to come out
i also read that you shouldn't wash them using normal detergent stuff as it stops the microfibres doing their job.

Oh yeah if your doing exhaust tips then I'd be the same. As long as you don't use fabric softener and use a dryer then there actually more abrasive than when new

I use this stuff for keeping my cloths clean:
http://www.chemicalguysuk.com/microfiber_cleaning_microfiber_couch_microfiber_p/microwashhg.htm
As Mr Nut says - no fabric softener and air dry only.
I use Tesco 5 for £1.50 microfibres for doing exhaust tips and throw them away when there's no more white surface left; certainly wouldn't put them through the wash afterwards - although I use #00 wire wool to get most of the grubby stuff off first.

edit: Auto Finesse Mercury Metal Polish is the tits for exhausts - dabbed on wire wool, get all the really grubby stuff off, then 'floss' with a cheap microfibre.

I use sonus wash stuff. Meant for foam and microfibre. But tbh I wouldn't buy it again when I run out.

It's worth it just to see your car covered in white foam. And when you stop it sounds like custard falling out of a clowns pants.
