Anyone know of decent pubs/bars/cocktail bars around the Soho or Covent Garden area?

Jewel and The Porterhouse on Maiden Lane in CG Jewel is a great girly cocktail bar, Porterhosue is a proper manly pub. Punch & Judy in the market itself is one of the best pubs in LDN

Z Hotel; not overly fussed as we're likely to be amongst those making the noise

I always go to the Roadhouse in Covent Garden when I'm there on work or training... usually spend every night in there and get smashed off £2.50 morgans spiced jobbos.

Currently sitting in Covent Garden Cocktail Club that's pretty decent, need membership though.
But tar all, will have a gander at the suggestions.

When I worked in London the Marquis Of Granby on Shaftesbury Ave was my go to pub for a pint after work. edit
Just had a look at reviews online and it seems it may not be as good as it used to be, which is a shame!

Been to Roundhouse before, seemed alright. Likewise with Jewel, decent place that.

Probably not a great bar for the cool kids, but off Covent Garden down the Strand there is a neat little pub called the Lyceum Tabern, just sells whiskey basically and no name brands in a throw back setting, small different and not cheap but I enjoyed it.

Lemon Tree. At the back of Charing Cross police station. Smallest pub ever.

Adventure Bar is a good laugh for cocktails.
Pow, is The Porterhouse the massive pub with a massive selection of beers from around the world? If that's the one I'm thinking of, I like that one too

The Porterhouse is OK.
I like the Lowlander which if memory serves is on Drury Lane. Mostly dutch and belgish beers.
In/near Soho theres one called De Hems which is nice. More your normal Pub feel that the Lowlander.
I would say they are both good early doors places, have a few beers that smell like sweaty feet (think its called Rochefort, try it ) before you move on to another place.
