Snow and it's almost April. I've heard of a white Christmas but a white Easter?

Those 2 pics are from what is meant to be SS3 of the Easter Stages next weekend. And apparently there's no let up in the snow for the next week or so.

Snowed day before my parents wedding in June around 1975 then was a heat wave the day of the wedding. The weather always has blips.

i love how the news always make it sound worse than it is.

20ft of snow the reporter was standing next to it and she was about 5ft tall, and this mound of snow was no more than twice her size

another willy waving contest.

also 10 inchs of drift does not equal 10 inchs of snow

likewise, 20 foot of snow that is piled on the side of the road due to snow plough displacement, does also not equal 20 foot of snow

It's been quite bad round here. The road up to a friends pub was level with the dry stone walls on either side, they'll be about 6-8'. Council tried clearing it with a JCB but gave up. I don't think it was so much the amount of snow that fell though, more the winds blowing it off the fields.

We were driving home late Friday and had to re route twice due to closed roads, "death trap" Haldex coped well again though. Saturday morning it was up to the bonnets of the cars on our side of the street, again the wind caused most of that though, there was very little on the other side.

Some quite good pics on Twitter but I can't link them

Fuck the conspiracy theorists would love that to happen!

Saw pics of snow up to the height of a 4.5 tonne digger, one of the lads who runs rally cars over here was digging his way out of his house so he could bring his cars to the Midlands Stages!
