WEll, what to say. It fucking rocked

WE left Dons house on friday morning, and on the way to Dover it p1ssed it down. I got an email saying not to bother as its a mud bog in belguim but we went anyway.

Got into france, it was still raining. Belguim, still raining. 3 odd hours later it was still raining but the ground wasn't too bad. It stopped and we pitched up. Automatically people crowded round the cars as we struggled to work out the damn tent. After that we washed the cars, and then it rained, again

That was it for the rain, the wind decided to take over and a couple of tents decided to go for a walk nearly including ours.

Saturday was nice and sunny but still very windy. The ground was muddy/sand so sand and dust was chucked all over the cars which made it hard to clean for the show and shine.

Sunday was superb. Nice and hot and sunny. Only problem was the drive home in which wasps and flies seemed attracted to the cars and covered (and i do mean covered) the front ends of the cars.

Still, it was a bloody great weekend, and if i hadn't ran out of room on my phone i'd have taken a lot more photos of some of the other wicked motors. Totally openend my eyes to the european style and i've decided i love it. So much so i want a bit of airbrushing on D4 (just on the filler cap). WE bought some chrome bits for both cars as well.

The trade stands were not very good, but we are promised a much bigger better show next year.

Roll on Belguim 2004. We shall deffo be going.

Icy, some of the stuff out there was fantastic. I want a picture of D4 on the fuel cap.

Don Fulfords corsa. He's spent 6 months build a complete carbon fibre interior. Dash, gearbox cover etc everything. He's got more chrome under the bonnet than i've seen on a corsa. Don wants her Mantzel box chromed now His car is amazing. All the wires hidden behined the inlet manifold etc etc.

Aj, its a completly different style out there. No tacky bodykits or huge wheels. Everything is very very subtle, smart, tidy, and puts UK bodyshops to shame!

Yup D5's trophy collection is building up very proud of her especially as her owner did a very poor job of cleaning her for the show and shine, so she done well all on her own

Come on Don, it wasn't exactly great conditions to clean your car on a dusty field on a very windy day

AJ, took us 40 min to get to Dover, ? ferry crossing, and about 2.5-3 hours driving through the top of france and belguim.

Icy, yeah, Dons is the blue one somewhere in that lot. Can't miss it. Its modified, but its clean, cleaner than any UK car i've ever seen. But then thats how most of them were out there.

They may like small bodykits and small wheels, but the quality of the European work puts a lot of top uk cars to shame!

Also, it was great in the fact of so many nationalitys. People from Belguim, France, Holland, UK, Scotland, Germany, and i even think 1 or 2 spanish people turned up!

And the people were so nice and appreciative of the work that had gone into the cars not like the arseholes over here that put down cars just cause they're not to their taste. Shows how ignorant the english are really And thanks to our trip to Belguim, im back on track to treating D5 to some more little pressies!! Chatted to some really nice people out there

The first time ive come back from a car event and not wanted to leave and put my car away

People out there were great. Must learn the lauguage. So many people attempted to talk to us. Many seem very interested about the bonnets on both cars and the scuttle panels. And how we had exhausts that big in the middle

The attitude and atmosphere was great. As Don said, showed us how petty and ignorant many brits are!!!!!!
