So as some of you may know from previous threads I was on the look out for another E39 530D.

Was supposed to see one yesterday but seller told me to piss off when I asked for partial VIN( I told him what for and sent a link to a VIN decoder website).

Was checking Ebay/AT/Gumtree/Forums all week every 5 minutes for a week
Woke up this morning with a hung over, grabbed my phone to check Ebay saved searches and boom!
Lower than average E39 530D with manual gearbox in what looked like a decent condition!

Rung the guy who advertised it and arranged viewing!

Drove with my parents to Teeside and ended up buying it!

Chuffed with it to be honest! Drives quite well but definitely want to get Sport 2 suspension on it at some point. Need two splash guards as both are in bits(common on E39's) and heater control panel buttons are cracked (common too).
Few paint work issues like scratches etc but to be expected really from a 11 year old car!

Oh and mileage is not as bad as on E46 I have (147k). This one is only 102k

23 in April this is my second one. Tbf though i did 780 miles last week so need comfort. This has heated seats so deffo nice

I love manuals. This is lazy enough as I can drive 20mph in third or 60. Torque of 3.0diesel is awesome!

De-chrome it and put some 540i alloys on it. Will transform the looks.

Dad has a 1 Series SE but with M Sport suspension. I think the SE looks better but still handles as good as the M Sport.
