Exhaust i rancid.. Another mod i had no input in but it does keep the noise low enough to avoid being black flagged on the drive by.

Just getting some grub.

Will update tomorrow

Car looks class mate, what kinda times is it running round Cadwell?

Keep an eye out for a Subaru Impreza S12 WRC replica, some serious hours went into that thing, it's unreal. And the RCM Gobstopper!

First race of the season went decently.

There were some electrical gremlins before warmup in which the car for some reason refused to start. Borrowed some spark plugs and it bust into life..

During the sessions mike was learning his new car, alot has changed on it and hes just had no seat time at all to get used to it so this was the shakedown.

We cured the shredding belt issue, it was because he was using a bigger belt than he should of been so a small 1270 belt was used and ran faultlessly all day.

We qualified 2nd against a HEL works honda s2000 (550bhp, sequential box etc etc) which was driven by charlie butler henderson (vikkis bro). In final we managed to pretty much match CBH's qual lap but he upped his game and we was out by almost 2 seconds. Still finished 2nd in the final which we are happy about.

So, we have a list of things to sort on the car which im hoping can be done before Croft on the 11th so hopefully now mikes knows the car a little better he can consentrate on learning the track. We shall see.

Don't worry dude, people have to pick holes on anything. I got the same doing updates for my wifes car

Good write up, is there much you can improve on the car, i.e suspension changes, harder, softer, rebound etc. Did you both fettle with it during the day?

Its worth it when you know how the car performs, I do it on my bike and can feel each front/rear change, but it should be the same for a car really?
