Fast and powerfull convertable.. Sub £10k..
Must be under 80k miles and in good condition..
4 seats is a must and not an ///M3..
Can really be any thing, regardless of mpg..
Just after ideas, probs going to sell my corsa come august time to trade up.

Yes to floppy roof, no to gearbox. Their manual box wouldn't take the torque.

Boxster, S2000, Mini, Lotus Elan, Z4, TT Roadster, VX220, SL500, CLK240, SLK280, Volvo C70, Chimaera, Elise S1, S2 if they're in price range yet, XKR, XK8, M3, Alfa Spider....
Any of them?
I'd go for a Boxster S, and if you could find one Slk280.

With £10k to splash out and an 80k limit, I'd say the options were fairly vast

10no identical £1k cars would be the best option, then just insure one and swap the numberplate over when one breaks

I think you are better getting a £5k sports car if you have £10k, a £10k sports car i would want £20k behind me.
Thats the problem, people spend all their budget on something thats seems an amazing deal, then can't afford the £500-£1000 bills.
