Well I picked the car up and stuck £50 of tesco's finest 99 and been out for a drive in it last tonight.

Absolutely love the car and can see me having this for a while compared to all my previous cars.

Anyway here are some photos I took of the car tonight...

I had bought a shortened aerial about 12months ago for my Leon but it killed the radio reception and coincidentally works fine on the Clio

Thanks for looking!

Not a fan of this colour. Ive seen less of these than the trophy version, but when i do they never have the cup packs which makes them look worse.

According to the RenaultSport site only 148 were made in this colour. I know what you mean about the cup packs, this has the cup suspension but I will be putting a spoiler a Cup/Trophy spoiler on it

True but it's easy to have them refurbished in the anthracite. Only definite way is a toothed ring behind the disc, if it's 7mm thick it's has normal 182 suspension, if it's 15mm it's the cup suspension

Nice!

Was looking at Trophys the other day as our second car expecting them to have come down in price. Couldn't justify £5-6k for a 60k mile Clio though, expecially when I sold my 22k mile one 5 years ago for that.

Yeah, you're paying for the suspension and recaros on a Trophy.

I can't see this car costing me a lot of money. I've already bought a Ktec induction kit with orange hose

People think French cars are shit, not reliable etc. the 5 French cars I've had have been more reliable than the Vauxhalls I've had. Did 9k in 7 month in my 182. Including a day at Cadwell park where it got death all day. Only thing I replaced was a set of springs as one front one was snapped. Was cheaper to buy a set of Eibach's.

The last 2 Peugeots I've had were shit. First one the engine randomly cut out and the second had a dry sump kit....well the oil was in the coolant tank
