Anyone getting one when they're eventually released for general sale?
Interesting article by Saurik about how he rooted his the day he got it

Really exciting technology, some journos quoting it as something that since using they can no longer live without.

I'll wait for Apple to release the amazing never before seen iGlasses. /twat.
Can see it being useful in a tiny amount of situations, but for general plebs, nah. Although they do look cool, so will be good for folk willing to blow a grand on them. London commuters will love them

I'm not entirely sure what the purpose is...
But no, I'm not paying the asking price for something as gimmicky as this.

It's a cool concept, etc. but I really cannot be assed with this taking off and every man and his dog walking around in techno-glasses.

Just watched the video on Google and it is indeed a completely useless gimmick.
As soon as I see anyone wearing them I'll run up and say "Okay Glass, Google blue waffle!".

They do look daft but so do people who wear big headphones (like Dre Beats) but that doesn't stop them.
I think it's on the borderline between gimmck and awesome.

Big headphones in public and these are both seriously uncool.

I hate that too, this new thing where it's cool to be walking around in big fucking headphones, looks utterly stupid.

My gym is full of these cunts. One bloke was actually wearing sunglasses last night. I wanted to smash him in the face with a dumbbell.

Compared to the prototypes i think they've done pretty well on the packaging
And like any other 'new' tech, it'll progress and miniaturise and eventually will end up embedded into your glasses.

You know what I mean, Balling, don't be a douche
Plus wasn't that because ear buds weren't about then?
With everything, like phones for example, it's like everything's done full circle now. Striving for years to make things smaller, now it's going back the other way as larger is supposedly better, although my mrs confirmed this isn't the case.

Said the guy who sprouts abuse in binary!
But yeah, I know what you mean. Saw two guys today having a conversation, while both wearing huge cans.

Mate, if you're nerdy enough to know what it says then that's your problem. I'm still trying to figure it out.
Also, sprouts? Is that right?
