Been looking for a new daily driver as the Clio was shit. Found this beaut on eBay and emailed the guy on the off chance for a Buy it now. He agreed and went up to Stockport to fetch it. 2004 Ibiza TDi FR, 125k, MOT, Tax, 6 speed, Climate, traction and cruise control, mint condition and flash mapped to 165bhp apparently. An absolute steal at £1800! Still waiting for it to blow up as it's too good to be true

Decided to give it a good clean up. The original state did see some wax wish is nice:

I then treated the car to a full wash, clay, polish and wax (all Meguiars of course! ) and she shines like a good 'un

Why do you need a run about if you don't mind me asking? I own an Evo and have a run about but I do a lot of trackdays! Don't think i've ever seen you post up pics of your car on track.

Do you need a proper Rosstech lead for the full VCDS to work?

They are like £200+

I would say that was right for a 10 year old Ibiza with 125k miles on the clock?

No, £10 ebay jobbies work fine, and it's not some secret hard to get bit of software either, just get it off TPB.

126K is nothing for these engines. I swear the condition inside and out and the way it drives, you'd think it was on half that mileage.

Won't be modding it as I want a comfy ish car to use everyday.

My engine was fucked at 65k, and my clutch was in tatters.

I owned it and remapped it from being 18 years old though, so I drove it like a proper dick and never really looked after it

Few reasons really. I am building the Evo to be as mint and clean as possible and choose to only use it on sunny weekends, for meets and shows etc. Wouldn't want to use it everyday due to running costs, leaving it in car parks etc. Having a car you can hop in and use anywhere is worth it's weight in gold whilst the Evo is tucked away in the garage. Just the way I like to do things.
Na never been on track with it.
