Amateur mistake

Please don't put any blame onto the audi driver. I know people hesistating does get annoying, but not looking ahead before pulling away is the only mistake made here.

less than 10mph, i would have thought, his is alot heavier than mine

these things happen, most people have this kind of accident once in there lives due to a lack of attention for a split second

I keep nearly doing this, if I'm behind one car I always look at the roundabout rather than the car in front

Same thing happened to me last year but at a T junction. Shit happens mate.
Needed a new wing and headlight, slight dent in my bonnet and scratches on the bumper.
Only hit the car in front doing about 5 mph, my fucking french car crumpled, the car in front, a Fiesta just had a cracked bumper.

Did the same in my Audi at a junction. Woman in front started to go then stopped for no reason. I went straight in the back of her.

Surely more than 10mph?? I hit a wall in my corsa B at 15/20 and it didn't do that much damage

Will be more damage behind the Audi bumper.

How did you play it with the Audi driver? Going through your insurance and you're sorting yours yourself?

Is it bad that the first thing that went through my head was 'I wonder how much he'll want for the wheels and sideskirts?'

Glad to see it's fixable though, hope it won't be costing too much in insurance.

Done the same except it destroyed the front end if my car, cost £1500 of engine damage and I had it back two hours before another £1300's worth happened (internal damage)

Gutted, I think a lot of people have/have nearly done this once, myself included.
Looks like your car came off worse though, might get away without an insurance claim because the Audi doesn't look too bad.

Trying to avoid insurance, mine will be fixed tonight,

The Audi driver was a genuinely. Nice guy, won't be whip lash as he was complaining about people that do that,

He's happy to get a cash price problem is he would rather it be done at Audi as iys a brand new car, they recon no more damage underneath, but Audi want a new bumper and gril around £900.....
