What a knob, what did he expect to happen? Surely he couldve turned round in that lane when he realised it wasnt going to work? Looked wife enough at some spots to get off and turn the bike

Hes got so much money, Its no surprise, I imagine even if he ruined the bike completely he won't have been bothered.

I took my Suzuki down a green lane, and its no offroad bike.

What a stupid f*cking twat. Could have tried searching green lane footage on't net first, or at least asked about a bit.

He's lucky he didn't come face to face with an SJ410 or a SWB Landy/Patrol/Shogun etc. tonking at him from the other direction.

Obviously far too much time and money on his hands.

I've not seen or heard of anyone attempting green laning on two wheels before. It may be feasible but seems like a bad idea generally.

He's got some balls though, sharing footage of himself doing something so utterly idiotic with the rest of the world. I'd have though most people would keep it to themselves.

It's actually quite common now on road legal crossers.

Cheers Tiger. Didn't know this. Sems like utter madness. More chances to drop your bike than you can shake a stick at.

He has a video explaining he got a lot of stick for this however he is a business owner, on a bike that is as common as a GSi kit on a corsa and the bike didn't actually have any problems after it nearly died.

Lol at svm. I'd say there's more motorbikes on green lanes than cars, where do you think all those motocross bikes you see on the road have been/are going?

Same amount of chance of crashing on the road, it's not like we go flying down green lanes at 100mph!

I came head to head with a range rover down a green lane, I simply got myself out of the way, a pleasant wave between us and that was it.

Mad.

Did a fair bit with pals in the past and never encountered a single bike. Just seems like the wrong application for the wrong vehicle.

I'd expect trials bikes/crossers/scramblers etc to be doing stuff in their own kind of environment, rather than some shitty, rutted, flooded, confined quagmire of a track, where you can't open the thing up or enjoy it properly, plus stand a reasonable chance of getting a branch or thirty in the face.

Me and brother regularly go green laneing.

You can open it up in places but its more about the technical part of getting through it. It's alot faster than going through in a 4x4 aswell.

Here are our bikes. I also use mine for enduro racing. So its set up a bit different.

Bloody nice bikes Graeme
Always wanted something like this, but just never had the funding spare, plus my Ma banned me from geting a bike when I was sixteen, so never got my license.

That field shot looks a bit more like it I bet one can properly hoon across that sort of thing like a nutter when it's deserted.

Have you ever got stuck/come off, in any badly flooded lanes with nasty ruts?

Edit: spacing

SVM various injuries most serious broken ribs, can get very stuck and its mainly where 4x4's make ruts then they fill with water etc.

Good fun for not alot of Money. Insurance is cheap but maintenance can be costly.
