Some of you may remember this from when I had the ole Corsa.
I bought it like this in Oct 2011...
Lasted 2 weeks before it broke down with fuel pump failure.....
Sat on my drive for ages until January this year I decided it was time to fix it, having just wrecked my motorbike on a pothole. New pump, New injectors, New fuel tank and lines, Good service, Mot, Tax (£30!), totaling nearly a thousand pounds... But, it worked and should be good for another 150k
So, Used it....
Cleaned it, New number plates (3/4 height front plate), Silvertec indicator bulbs...
Lowered it...
172 alloys (Same style as the standard wheels, just an inch bigger and an inch wider...)
Other stuff has been done such as wrapped loads of interior parts in Black alcantara, De-wipered rear and changed all the audio for decent items.
Short term plans are either 1*2 interior, more alcantara (headlining mostly) and new steering wheel or 1*2 wide track front end, brakes etc, Both will change the car hugely, Just can't decide yet.
For anybody who feels like asking why I don't just buy a 1*2, I'll just leave this here...

I was/am never sure on the colour, Its Flame Red, which luckily is the same colour you can get 172's, so that'll help finding the bodykit eventually.
The 65 and 100bhp (Mines a 65) are £30 tax, The 80bhp is even less at £20, and they will all return between 55mpg if you rag the fuck out of them, and 80 mpg if you're a saint.

Ive got one exactly the same, but its the DCi 100 model, and still returns 66mpg...
What is it lowered on?

I never intended to get a Clio, or a diesel, but I was searching for a new car and it popped up cheap, Its not the best example, but it'll get there.
Wheels make a huge differance considering they look exactly the same, Money well spent.
The 100bhp ones are good, I'll eventualy get this remapped to similar performance, Lots of stuff before then.
Its on some cheapo springs atm, No idea what they are, Planning to switch to Cooksport springs as soon as there back in stock.

Cooksport are supposed to be the mutts nuts, The DCi weighs similar to the sports too so should be good. Just need them to get the next batch done, Hopefully won't be long.
Jamie, Its epic, and No smoke from this modern stuff

I wasn't aware of cooksoort, are they good i guess? My plan is to fit a venom suspension kit, as I've heard very good reviews about the dampers, and if the springs are turd, then ill swap to H&R or Eibach...

Well Cooksport still haven't got any springs in stock, so I went for some used, but refurbed Koni's, which are what you get with H&R shocks. I'm happy enough with them so won't bother switching to Cooksports.
Last week the car ticked over 151,000 miles, so over 8k since January when I put it on the road with the new fuel system etc. So decided its time for a service, Well underdue, but figured why not.
Recently sprung a coolant leak, mainly caused by the header tank cap not letting pressure out when it should, Caused the water pump seal to go, and since I hadn't replaced the pump, figured I'd do that considering I was having it out anyway.
Finally got around to it today, Stripped the front of the car down and all the cambelt etc.
New Vs old, Date stamp shows its the original pump, so its done well to last 9 years and so many miles.
Put it all back together, Washed and took it for a spin and some pics with the new stance.
Keen eyed will notice I've done all the Renault diamonds black, Front and rear are wrapped in black vinyl, I think I'll be removing it as I'm not as much of a fan as I thought I would be, Wheel diamonds are staying though.
Now trying to decide between 172 wide track front (On standard arches etc for the time being) or more power (Intercooler and remap).
Comments good or bad welcome.

Cheers bud. I've removed the vinyl now, I much prefer it.
Today I attempted to fit my decat, Its a cut open and welded up standard cat to keep the MOT man happy, and you can't buy an off the shelf decat for these.
Got the old one removed easily, Shaft out (Much easier than a vauxhall!) and a few bolts plus a couple of supporting brackets.
Yes I have an oil leak to fix sometime.
Compared to the new...
Bugger, 80 turbo is slighty different, I found the differance. Will keep an eye out for a 65 cat/decat or a 80 turbo.
At least it wasn't a hard job.

Road trip today, Collected a bargain. Front bumper, front wings and skirts, £100.
Car packed
I need to find a lower grill, and the correct upper grill, plus paint the fog surrounds black, and most importantly, fit wide track conversion so the wheels actually fill the arches! But its getting there....
Sun ruined this
To-do list is getting shorter!

Cheers guys. Chris thats silly money, Most kits go for around £400 depending on colour, Talking another £200 or so for the wide track however.
Simon, Most likely a 172 that hasn't been cut for a exhaust, then eventually go for a 182 style exhaust to be different.
