they aren't. on one of the downshifts, only 1 flames. if it was photoshopped, audi would've done both.

Saw this a week or so ago. I hate adverts and advertising but this impressed me with it's subtlety and nice noise.

Don't see the 'revolution' bit though. It's still a car with wheels and an internal combustion engine.

Not entirely sure why they felt the need to leave the car partially assembled too.

No one in the drivers seat lol.

The flames are a bit cheap too imo. I doubt the real one flames on every down change like that, unburnt fuel being sent through would soon destroy the cats.

Just think for 40k you could have V8 and drive it on the road. I also saw the ad the other day pretty cool.

It's a cool advert, but they don't pop flames... Trust me I know, we have tried a few times driving them without the arse end after gearbox or engine related repairs..

Indeed. Half the cats are in the fricking huge rear silencer. It's why they actually gain some power with an afteaerket jobbie...

But the actual car wont sound like that will it, because the actual car wont come with the bumper and half its exhaust system removed.

My mini would sound fucking awesome if i removed the exhaust up to the manifold too! Who knows if the sound is even real on the vid its already highly suspected the flames arent real.

This advert is designed for people who think Fast and Furious is real. Personally this advert does nothing for me. Saying that I do like the R8 but not because of this ad.

i witnessed an r8 v10 on full throttle this afternoon and can confirm it sounded just as good as the one in the advert (albeit not as loud).
