After many years we've finally decided to sell our 2.0 16v Turbo corsa. We simply don't have the time or resources to use it and someone else can enjoy her or split her for parts. Just got too many things going on and wifey has made the decision to sell it.
It passed an MOT last year, and i'll get the full spec written up. It has a few faults that need addressing, mainly items such as temp gauge not working, iffy leccy windows etc, but I think this is due to lack of use and the electrical points probably need cleaning up.
Very very Short spec:
2.0 16v turbo (registered on log book also), F28, lightened flywheel, custom exhaust, IC, filter, few chrome bits which have pitted and will need replacing.
Reyland 4 pots, M-Tec rear beam with disc conversion (all brand new parts).
Full leather interior, roof, custom dash with tv, the full works, custom audio setup, two sets of comps, 2 12" subs.
Custom bodykit, tvr paint, lots of custom parts.
I appreciate its not an "in" car now and is out of date with the current times, so not really looking for opinions of "its shit" or "love it", this is more to test the water to see if anyone is honestly interested, whether it be for parts (NOT SPLITTING), or tinkering with to bring up to date or have it as a used car. It will be sold as a whole car.
Pics as of when it came out for its MOT last year.
Complete history of build

Please drop me a message if you are seriously interested, and I'll jot up a formal For Sale post at some point soon.
We're looking around £4k, as there is more in parts alone, but as stated, we simply do not have the time to strip her for parts, nor willing to put anymore time/money to get it to its former 100% state.
PLATE NOT INCLUDED!!!!

I'd probely go lower than 4k
My reason being that I agree there is 4k worth of parts there, but no one is going to go to the hassle of collecting, stripping, then selling them all for no profit
I think if there was a grand or so profit in it you might get a few takers

4k is a good price! Still looks great.
Shouldn't see a problem with selling, Best would be sticking it up on ebay.

Thats why i've priced it at £4k as theres more that that in parts. Theres £2500 nearly in just the engine/box ad brakes and the shell is in good condition. Then theres audio, interior, suspension, wheels were the 1st in the country and not a mark on them etc etc. Even the foglights are irmscher at iirc £70 eaach. Mirrors are stienmetz.
There is a lot of parts on it. Not added it up but i reckon well over £5k's worth.

Oh and the bonnets nearly £400, without the additional work done.

Dreaming at that price, and if this thread isnt asking for opinions then it needs to be in classifieds

2.5k for the engine?
Are the wheels worth more for being the oldest set in he country?

1st set of those particular wheels in the country must add at least £500 to the asking price.
The bonnet may have cost £400, but someone looking to strip the car and sell it on will more than likely sell it quite a bit cheaper, same goes for the engine.

Opinions opinions opinions Same old we're right your wrong internet stuff.
Is gauging interest for it, as said, a classified ad will be written.
Robin, engine, box, and brakes I said. Including IC, filter, 4 pots, rear beam etc.
True, I know what items were new, and what they are worth now.
As for the wheel, no, not worth any more, but I doubt you will find any in the same condition.
tbh, people can pick holes, have opinions, none of which are of any interest to us if you are not showing an interest in the car.
Any valid questions will be answered, and as said, a formal FS post will be written once I've confirmed a few things. Im not expecting a quick sale.

Might be valuable for you to know why people have no interest in the car.
Years ago when I sold my own chaved up Corsa I had a clear idea about what it was worth and how anyone breaking it could easily make money from it.
After being for sale for a LONG time it ended up selling for a lot less than I knew it was worth.
The sad truth is, the car isn't worth more than what someone is willing to pay for it.

Other than the running gear I don't see it being worth much tbh, not much else on it is desirable these days.
Think you missed the boat and should of sold it years ago!
