a lot of people iv asked are all for AEM or Innovate, but they always say the other ones pants

whats best and if not one of them two which one??

Ive used Innovate a few times no issues but some people have the issue where they need to recalibrate it often

I've got an innovate one and an aem,
Prefer the innovate, never ever had any issues was used in my daily for about 3 years now,
Aem is just easy to fit quickly fit too some one else's car if I'm checking it.

basically im just trying to get the fueling perfect on the N/A V6... been advised to get a wideband but also had someone mention a rising rade fpr... now im not sure if the adjustable fse one already is or not...
basically the issue i have is it could be running rich low down the revs but as soon as you take the rev up high its running lean... my plugs where white after a few runs up pod

other advice welcome

no point, chop and change ecu's too often... raised limit, advanced ignition and standard... would put it back to pot when i swap over wouldn't it

Its not a road car. It should only have the 1 ECU that is the best performance for what you intend to use it for. Unless you DIY map its pointless having multiple ecu's

no i use the chipped one when i have the opportunity too... we all share ecu's. there's one set to use with the nitrous and when my mates aren't using that they use the chipped one, i go back to standard one... thats why i was pleased with a flat 13 on saturday cos that was standard and i was disappointed with the flat 13 on the sunday cos that was chipped. obviously i have this issue with fuelling to get perfect too

Rising rate fpr's only work with boost I thought, like for every 1psi of boost they give 1.5 or more psi of fuel pressures, where a normal one would give 1psi for every psi.

Unless there's one that works on vacuum instead.

The wideband monitors afr. You adjust settings on the car to get the afr correct the wideband won't do this. It's a display.

aye thought so but what im asking is once the wideband is fitted and working, could i chop and change ecu's freely without breaking it... like, i understand i may have to adjust the fueling again but will the wideband still be reading rite

Yes. It reads from the sensor in the exhaust or you fit your own. Just reads the afr in the exhaust.

If it was me, I'd save my money and have the ecu chipped instead, then have it set up on a rolling road to get the fuelling right once and for all.

Much easier than messing around checking and adjusting over and over again.
