So 10 minutes after starting work I get an email...

Most annoying thing for me is that some one actually complained!

Speed limit is 5mph which is ridiculous in itself.

Lucky you don't have people with speed cameras in your work.

I always use to get shouted at for speeding in my works car park.
They said I'd be reported I just laughed at them, said "who too, the store director?" Laughed again and walked away knowing she couldn't do anything outside that building to me.
Could barely do anything to me in the building as I didn't work for them

When I had my VXR and I was working at a hotel in Manc, we had an underground carpark. My exhaust sounded like war in there and once I was driving through the car park at about 15-20 mph with the usual pops and bangs, anyway some woman who was unloading her car shat herself and shouted at me. Next day I go in and my boss says that a guest had complained about a hooligan doing 50mph through the car park!!!

50mph how do these people even carry out normal daily activites when they can't even estimate speed based on distance travelled rather than noise?

Imagine if she heard a lorry would she assume that was doing 50mph aswell?

When I had my shunt a couple of months ago, I had witnesses saying I was driving at silly speeds. I told the copper "listen to this", started the car and let him listen to my exhaust which was blowing and makes these morons think I'm gunning it.

Had same at a caravan park once at about 1am... Old stopped saying we need slow down its bit a rally track... Te "park" has worst speed bump in history every 10 or so metres, and with a lowered car it would have been hard to speed even if I wanted to...

As usual makes a point then walks away in a fluster without listening to the answer. Typical English person

15mph site limit for us, security are out with speed guns too to police it. Never go over in the pool cars, as I just let tick over in 3rd gear cruise me round at 15 One sunday night after doing a 15 hour stint to recover some issues, was in my car and got caught doing 22mph.

Pulled me over, handed me my ticket and I said "what happens now?".

"We're telling your boss"

Unconfirmed sources say that the afore mentioned offence may or may have not been accompanied with a bit of RWD action

More chance of me telling my boss off than the other way about. I was clenching my ass today doing 120 in a 40 zone in a 911 Carrera 4S

exactly the same as what happens here. Private estate roads are very fun, especially when they have roundabouts

I share the securities pain tbh. They probably get told to enforce the speed limits but what can they really do.

Anyone noticed the speed limit on motorway road works is 11mph? just looked it up and apparently it's because people notice it compared to 10mph
