A Corsa site isn't really the best place to look tbh lol.

Go on ed38 or even better uk-mkivs.net

Ive b een trying to get signed up to that mk4 site but with no luck! I emailed the admin friday or saturday about it and had no response!

I like that John, bar the bra. I'd be looking to mod 1 I get similiar. What do you reckon to them as a whole since you've owned 1?
I'll try that other one. I'm just spreading the word, most people on here have liives outside this website and go on other forums so you never know!

The bra was only there to hide the badge recess... Mine was a ko3s and stage 2 so 230bhp... Used to be quicker than a mates megane 225.

Their slow standard but fun once mapped... Build quality is great too, mine was a late one so didn't have recaros... Wish i bought some leather ones.

Lot of car for the cash, although i doubt theres many a clean as mine was now... Was only on 50k

I dont like them though, I've always liked mk4's. Im not that fussed over performance either as long as it isn't slow, but plan to keep this for years so thought id be better opting for something I wont potentially get bored of as quick.

You'd be silly to go for a MK4 GTi over a LCR

when there lowered make sure the front arb has been changed as i had problems with me bora, drive shaft rubs on it. the turbo is easy to change to the k04 changed mine on a passat it holds boost higher up the revs where a k03 will tail off. check all windows work and ask the owner has the mechanism been upgraded to the metal clips as plastic ones snap.

Cheers for the advice. I won't be chasing big power, certainly not in near future if ever, maybe get it mapped but not a massive priority. I'll definitely be looking to lower it on some nice wheels but not to tbe point it becomes painful to drive, got to maintain its car like properties!

You will want a whiteline rear anti roll bar then, make it handle more like a car than a boat
