Going to look at a 1993 Cavalier at the weekend, it looks to be well looked after from what I can see but with no tax or MOT I'm a bit suspicious as to why he wouldn't just MOT and get an easier sale?
Where rusts on these that I should be aware of?

Looks ok but wouldn't expect it to fly through an MOT
Seen a very nice turbo the other day, first nice looking Cav I have seen on the road for years

With you as the buyer, I'd put bets on the sump giving out shortly...

I don't expect it to fly through an MOT , it's more of a project tbh, something to restore and enjoy, the MG is just a daily hack atm, just looking a project to keep me occupied but don't want something thats clean rotten

He didn't say instantly
Can we take bets on how long before you do?
Looks okay to me but obviously all I can see is the bodywork, my friends dad had a Cav Turbo that the boot floor went rotten on.

Jamie, you need to stop buying shit cars
Rear arches go on these but giving the age, the entire thing could be rotten.
Good luck! Will keep an eye of for updates

I've seen this in the flesh at PVS looked great ! Just watch out for rust really rear arches are the worst and inside the boot can become wet, other than that there good cars

Open the petrol flap to check for rot around the filler hole.

In my experience they can rust in around the inside of the wings, so get it jacked up and front wheels turned for a look. And of course the rear arches.
Bit dear for having no tax and MOT in my opinion. Looks a nice car though.

You are either a full on gay or a women. I would say full on gay but since you have already come back as someone else i could also think you are of women. To be honest, i don't really care. Get an actual life instead of spending all your time on a Corsa Forum.
