Went out in a saxo turbo last night, WOW!!! is all i gotta say! This thing accelerates so fast!!
Anyone know the bloke who owns it? He bought it how it is, with turbo conversion, uprated clutch, brakes, the lot! for 8k, its blue with gold rims and gold graphics on the side, and pretty much standard bodywork.
We overtook an elise, the driver of which looked gobsmacked by the fact that we just flew past him and carried on untill about 125mph (still more to go!) I was shittin myself!!!
How much people think this conversion cost? How reliable? How many times its been done etc.....????

DP motorsport in Warrington do the conversions, not sure how much they cost but they claim 192bhp

yeah the bloke reckoned his was about 200Bhp or summit
sport 16v: i probably hate saxos as much as you do fella, but this thing was rapid!!

nothing to do with the saxo thing...its too stereotypical...I was referring to the how much does all this which I prob wont ever do cost...you see it everyday on here...17 year olds asking how much a 2.0 conv will cost...why do they wanna know they prob wont be able to afford it let alone the insurance.

well BB tuning do a turbo conversion for the 16V/Williams.
Their show car is currently running 315bhp and tops out at 145mph due to the gearing
costs a gob smacking £7,500

maybe a better car (more reliable, better build, better handling etc..) but the look on the blokes face as he was getting overtaken by a saxo was unforgettable!!!

The spec on it is ridiculous, the previous owner must of poured so much money into it!!!
Been in Celica GT4's, RS escorts, fiestas, Punto GTs, but nothing put me back in my seat as much as this did!!!

Did i say i was going to do it? No! just askin a simple question, and you tell me im askin about 2ltr conversions, its a saxo VTS with a turbo conversion. still a 1600 16v!!

yeah mate, definitely would, i personally dont agree wit spending lots of money making a car quick wen you could just buy a faster (probably more reliable) car in the first place!!
However, i still sayin the look on the blokes face as we caned past his elise was priceless!
