I haven't been on it, but i had an argument with my mate a while back who was saying thorpe park has some of the best rollercoasters in the world.

I was on the florida side of the fence. He's never been and kept telling me that thorpe park was better.

We went last day of half-term, the ride was supposed to have been open all week but it was broken since the press run

We arrived and finally got into the park 11ish on the Friday, wandered over to the Smiler just to look at it and as we approached it, the queues opened up right in front of us

Unfortunately, I was gasping for a dump so went to go do that first. Ended up queuing for about an hour and according to the clicker lady we were 801st and 802nd people on the ride.

Except for nemesis, saw, and oblivion which were all worlds firsts.

Other than that though...

Looking forward to giving it a go.

Went on the new Transformers 3D ride at Universal in Orlando and is the most realistic 3D simulator I've ever been on

this is why i can never be arsed going. hours and hours of queuing just pisses me off.
went for my birthday a couple of years ago, and had started drinking before we set off, after the first queue i just went and sat in the bar with a couple of my mates and got hammered while the rest of them spent all day waiting to have 3 rides

Do what others do and hire a spastic of the day. You get taken to the front straight away.

Or if you have a child with you, make it cry. I remember crying whilst in the queue for the E.T ride when I was a kid and got taken to the front. WIN! Possibly the only time i've ever cried and felt happy straight after

Adding one more loop or something can make it a worlds first. Island of adventure have dueling dragons which is nemesis with 2 separate coasters and twice as long and twice as good. America had fast track long before Thorpe park and Alton towers they soon copied the idea.
Oblivion is a shit coaster. Never been on saw
End of the day America do everything bigger and better.
