I swear
30 next year and when I'm drinking now I just get drowsy and wanna go home rather than hitting the clubs. Most other people (even older than me) seem to have so much more energy!
The only time it seems to work and I actually enjoy it is during the day in the sunshine... anyone the same?

I think daytime/evening home drinking has killed me. I'm terrible for it - if I'm at home it's safe to say I'm within an two hours of having a beer unless I'm sleeping, but all that happens is I have a couple and then get tired - so go to bed
Now whenever I go out, I have a couple and then feel like it's takeaway time

I wish I had this problem . I can go till 7am no sweat . There is no worse feeling in the world than coming out of a club and it been light with road sweepers driving about . I very rarely do that anymore as it fucks me for 3 days . When I went to napa 5 year ago I did 2 week solid of boozing from about 10am till 4-5 am every day . I lost one mate to alcohol poisoning for 2 days too there's not a chance I could hack that again .

I'm a nightmare at times, far too often I've told the wife I'm just having a couple after cricket and rolled in at 6-7am, they definitely don't appreciate that.
Hangovers are much worse than I remember too, the day after is pretty much a complete write off which isn't big or clever really, especially when you have a young family. Weirdly I don't get anything like as rough after an all-dayer, maybe the steadier pace suits me better than a night time binge.
Also, jäger bombs are the work of the devil, lost all recollection of entire nights out and gone AWOL for hours off the back of too many of those.

A gay who saves significantly more money than you on alcohol, therefore i'm not too bothered
bare in mind I also do shift work which messes your body clock up.

I'm 6 ft roughly 70kg so wouldn't say so. I'm up at 6am to walk the dog though and get woken up all the time by my expectant wife
Doesn't explain why I've been like it for a few years though!

I'm not overweight. To be honest I rarely get hangovers either these days... if I stay in with the missus for a takeaway and drink I'm usually suffering from a food coma and give up after two ciders lol.
Just came back from a stag weekend and Prague and drank so, so much. I got a bit pissed the first night but after that it stopped having an effect watered down piss beer probably didn't help though.
