Nursing a semi here. That's lovely.
Hate those headlights on the lesser models. They seem to work on this though.

Thought this was going to be something about the road to Bristol being cleared of average speed cameras etc.

The M2 or the 2M is putting me off buying a M135i so therefor I hate it. The initial plan was to wait for this M4 but rumour says it will be 78k starting price.

I hope that bonnet is open, as the shut lines look awful.

Looks nice but cant help but thing its a pointless car. Looks like they could sell it as the new generation M3 in years to come.

Pointless? I don't understand what you mean.
It's an m3 coupe. Iirc the saloon is going to be called m3. Giving it the name m4 allows bmw to differentiate between bodyshells and add more 'models' to their range.

Giving it the name M4 allows bmw to charge more for it.

Was the QC done by the same person who did the current Focus ST?

Calling it the 4 series allows BMW to build a 4 door version of the 2 door coupe which is based on the 4 door saloon without people getting confused.

And charge more for it than what's basically exactly the same car.

More than likely john. The saloon was never a big seller was it? Everyone wants the better looking 2 door version, so should pay a premium.

Looks pretty good though. The sprt of styling on this generation suits the aggressive sport models much more than the pov spec ones.
