I was out playing golf with a mate in May (only just asking this since my phone's been fucked) and found this at the third tee just laying on the grass. The course is called Mearns castle golf academy in case anyone want to have a look at the layout on maps or something but it's kind of in the middle of nowhere surrounded by fields.
Any suggestions?

It's not a beak, was a solid object. I thought a 'young' horn or similar if that makes sense but it was as fresh looking in real life as it was there in the pics, made no sense at all.

It's a cows horn. Been ripped off in a fight or on a tree then carried there by a dog/fox.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

About 130mm long and about 80mm diameter, if you're familiar with golf it's sitting in light rough as a comparison with the grass
This was my thought as well Ste, curious to know how it became unattached in the first place though. Thought there might have been some farmer types on here who might have been able to tell what it was at least.
