Tickets to the theatre/gig/some show or event? Framed photo?

Could just scrap the the tradition and just get your partner something they want?

Fuck paper. Show she means more to you than paper and get her jewellery. It's what she'll want

Nothing, set your stall out early, otherwise you'll feel the need to better it each year. Either that or you'll end up divorced, which also sort of solves the problem.

Paper?

Last year I gave her a telescope and she gave me a watch.

This year we've agreed to add it all to our restaurant budget as we have too much crap anyway.
I don't need more waches/shirts/gadgets and she certainly doesn't need more jewelry/shoes/clothes...

like your thinking.

I took my wife on holiday. We go around the same sort of time so just turned it into an anniversary present for both of us because we also have way to much crap!!

I didn't realise this was such a big deal and didn't get her anything. I kind of had it in between passing your driving test and getting a new job but below a birthday.
