So, had a Ford Mondeo ST200 lately but the temptation to sell it on for profit got the better of me. And it was rusty. Brilliant car non the less.

Anyway, here's the new daily.....

Over-kill much????

So aye, that's it.

Its a 2.6 SRi with full factory fitted Gsi kit and pretty much all the option boxes ticked ( i think).

Need to raise the front a tad as the JOM coilovers are a bit stiff at that lowness. Also thinking about selling on the brakes as they squeel like fuck and Hi-spec 4 pots with 321mm Astra VXR discs are a bit over-kill on a V6 Vectra. Will keep and eye out for some 308s.

Also need to sort the interior out as its been John D'd. All the interior lights are blue and a bit gay lookin.

Tbh they aren't all that good for the size of them. They have Greenstuff pads fitted which might play a big part in it.

It came from Kirkcaldy Eck so quite possible you have seen it.

No sure tbh, it's pretty much how i would want it, but it does need raised at the front a tad. Might keep an eye out for some other wheels, but only really like the P2 Gsi wheels but no sure i want to go down that route.

Its in the higher tax band Fred, £150 odds for 6 months. And the noise is pretty addictive.

I would probably just rather pick up a set then sell these on.

Not entirely sure what's all been done to make them fit as they originally had bells and rotors which were swapped out for the VXR discs. Think it will just be a different carrier bracket but you never know. Will have a look when i have the wheels off.

The 2.6 dosn't respond as well to tuning as the 2.5 does. Fitting the Gsi cams dosn't have the same affect as what it would on say the C25XE.

The 2.6 aren't as easy to tune.
