Kinetic energy recovery system. You brake, and the energy is stored and available to the driver. Like a boost button.

doors on them are an optional extra.... something like £500.

Just do not see the point. Zoe or a push bike. Infact Dangel make some awesome little electric assisted bikes that have some storage on them.
They are about £500 so saves £6500 off the price of that waste of time and space.
