My 18 month old pair of £130 Diesel's have an irrepairable rip under the right buttock, caused by merely moving not by catchign on anythign etc., do you think i could take them back and try and get some kind of credit against a new pair? Not sure if 18 months is long enough for £130 jeans to last tbh :\

they all get made in the same factory, seen it on tv, in the morning they make diesel jeans, in the afternoon its burtons, they just swap the label machine and weather them differently

Wouldn't surprise me. My £40 topman jeans that have had done serious wear are still going strong 6 years down the line.

Made out of completely different materiel. It's denim not
Titanium, they wear out if they cost £20 or £200.
My Burton's ones are 13months old and are fucked.
I'm not going to ask them for a refund though

Internet bullshit 3cm, stitching, material and buttons/ rivets are all different. I'm not saying it doesn't happen but you're maybe talking about primark jeans being stuck with a topman label. Any jeans I've paid over 100quid for have been worlds apart from the likes of river island and the like though

Gstar jeans are far better quality than burton. You can tell before you even put them on just by feeling them.

i hope your not gonna try and say that they are made the same just with a different label. But to answer the origional question no i dont think they will do anything.

I got some Boss ones from the US last july, most I've ever spent on Jeans (think they were £200 on a UK website at the time and I paid just over £100).

They've ripped where one of the rear belt loops stitches on and the leather label thingy has come off.

Will never do it again, £15 jeans from USC ftw

I say it every time there's a thread about jeans, get a skate brand, they're meant to take punishment so they'll last and they're pretty cheap, 2 for 50 or 60. They aren't all baggy and shit

When I was 14/15 all kids got taken piss out of for non branded shit and wanted nike/Adidas.

Now all
School kids happily go to primark for some £2 tshirts.
Most adults are starting to

I think non-branded stuff has got better though, and branded stuff has got worse

The gap is definitely smaller, if even present at all in some cases.

Ive got a pair of £7ers from Tesco. I bought them in June last year to see The Stone Roses in. thinking they would be fucked, and unwearable afterwards. They are the best jeans ever

Ive been to work and to weddings in them, been to every gig in the last 12 months in them too. They wash fantasticly, not a fucking mark on them to this day. Best £7 Ive ever spent.

Maybe something to do with the whole of Britain at least being turned on their head financially over the last 5-7yrs, another way to notice it is the way people are doing their cars up - 10yr ago it was blended in body kits, full paint jobs and lairy shit in general. It's no coincidence that the latest trend is OEM+, ultimately it doesn't cost as much.
