Not sure how Forsyth has escaped so far, but I guess him being a paedo would still make the girl 30odd

Timmy Mallet always gave me the creeps as a kid, still does. But I'm sure he's fine.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

So far, it's been people who are no longer as in the public eye as they once were, that's why I'm not sure we'll see the likes of Noel Edmonds or Bruce Forsyth as they're still prime time-whether that's a coincidence or a tinpot conspiracy is up for debate.

Kevin Webster was in public eye, as was Ian Watkins. Didn't stop anything

Has Keith Chegwin not been done for this yet? He's always been suspect IMO.

Neither was under operation Yewtree as these ones all are. Watkins is on remand and Levall was found not guilty.

Having a current show on Radio 2 means you're not in the public eye?

I didn't say not in the public eye, I said not 'as' in the public eye. Those who have been arrested under operation Yewtree used to be much closer to the centre of attention than they are now.

Stuart Hall - used to present primetime TV, he was arrested when he was 'just' a commentator.
Jim Davidson - Used to present primetime TV, he was arrested when he was 'just' a comedian.
Freddie Star used to be post watershed primetime, he was arrested when he was 'just' a comedian.
Jimmy Tarbuck, Dave Lee Travis, Rolf Harris, Mike Osman, Ted Beston again not exactly at the height of their careers anymore.

Paul Gambaccini used to be the host of much bigger radio shows as well as a TV regular, by comparison, he's no longer as high a profile as he once was.

I notice that a lot of those who have been accused have been DJ's? Is this the career choice of kiddy fiddlers?

I would be very surprised if he's found guilty of what he's been charged with. But you never know really do you.
