I love how the starting bid on something i'd have thrown in the scrap is a hundred and sixty quid!!!

Should have done a 99p start. Might have got a couple of bids then.

david and linden dixons old corsa xe...

mentioned in another thread on here the other week. 13.7 is correct and it didnt have the mapped ecu on it that day... can vouch its stock

stock engine internals.... stock ecu... fse fpr, v power fuel, the above exhaust, r888's up front, SOME weight shifted out the rear and a good driver

Not doubting the 13.7. Just cant claim to be the fastest standard xe in a corsa when its not stock.

This just gets better and better.

Not so stock now.

Love how they claim the exhaust is what made all the difference.

Think AK done a low 14/high 13? Properly stripped out bucket though.

"Think" his engine just was the filter/exhaust then?

Still, good time that!

the engine itself is stock though... standard cams, rods, pistons, ports, head.... it even had the factory fitted oil leak from the sump... was only a couple hundred quidder as a back up car.
i cant understand how an exhaust system and an adjustable fpr makes it a race spec engine all of a sudden... its a stock engine still

If something is modified, it is not standard. It doesn't matter how modified it is, it is not standard.

So if he was to shove 100bhp of nitrous through it, would you still claim it was stock??

Sorry but it dosn't work like that. It's like you are trying to force people to think that just because internally its standard, then it's classed as a standard engine.

nitrous was attempted on its last day out but something was up that wasn't took along as a spare, something daft like a fucked afm or something like that...
that would of been 'stock xe with gas'

When did saying ''Stock'' become a thing over here?

Standard is the word you're looking for.
