Who would your 23 be? Personally I'd take the following:
Forster Foster Hart
Baines Cahill Cole Dawson Jagielka Johnson Jones Smalling
Barkley/Ravel Morrison Carrick Gerrard Henderson Lallana Townsend Wilshere
Lambert Rooney Sturridge Walcott Welbeck
I think that gives us a good blend of youth and experience, enough pace in the right areas to play the counter-attacking game that suits us and enough different types of player in certain positions to play an array of different systems, with enough Jack-of-all-trade types to cover any injuries and suspensions that might crop up.

Not far off that but Zaha will get a loan move in January and he'll be in the running

Wouldn't bother with morrison yet, did a few decent things early in the season but not much since. Was anonymous in the United game.
Ox Is still to come back too

Doesnt need much explaining really, he did well in the championship, moved to a mid table premiership side and is still not deemed good enough to make the first team squad, so he won't be anywhere near the England squad.
More chance of Nick Powell getting in, hes playing well in the championship too

But as I say, he'll get his move in January and prove himself. I'm not saying he'll come to us (I wish!) but he'll definitely be on the move and be a major asset to WHOEVER he goes to.

Maybe so, but he will NOT make the England squad. I dont think anyone who's not been involved with England thus far will make the england squad for the world cup

I'd take James Ward Prowse over Morrison anyday.
Apparently he's 33/1 to be on the plane. Worth a punt IMO.

Ravel morrison won't be going. Theres glimpses of genius from him, but not enough consistency to be chosen for the world cup squad.

I'd take Heskey ahead of Morrison.

He has been involved, albeit it briefly. You're probably right but I still think there is an outside chance

I'd be disappointed if Hooper isn't involved with the squad in the near future.

Definitely a lot of competition on the wings, which is good.
Ox, Townsend, Sterling, Johnson, Lennon, and apparently Redmond and Zaha.
Gotta be Sterling and Johnson on current form, but 3 months yet! Could be any of them

Ox has been imperious since he came back from injury, a better bet than Sterling or Johnson for me as can play 2 or 3 diff positions
