I've been reading the books, up to number 5 at the moment. There's been a couple of major twists within the last three chapters.

I'm a fan of the TV series, however, like all things the books are so much better.

Tomorrow!

I'd never seen any GOT until a couple of months ago, but I've worked my way through all 3 seasons now ready for season 4 tomorrow.

Still shocked by the red wedding!!

It does get a bit boring at times. Too much chatting and switching here there and everywhere.

Difficult to follow if you're not fully concentrating on it.

Can anyone give me a low down on what it's about? I enjoyed Vikings on Love film, is this more fantasy based?

But I wouldn't mind getting the Breaking bad box set, I found Homeland a let down, when everyone raved about it.

I personally think it's a pretty good series, but like most things the books are so much better.

They have made up several bits in the TV series which do not add anything to the story, it's a bit odd why they didn't just follow the books.

I'd say it's worth a watch.

Folk love getting pissy about the series because it's their precious series or they've read the books.

The reality is, it's a good series. They've spent limitless amounts of money on it and it shows.

Moreover you see folk getting stabbed in the face and lots of boobs.

The great thing about the TV series is you don't have to sit and read a book.

Agreed.

Only time i'd ever read a book was if i became a bellend with a job in the city ajd needed to commute via smelly public transport. No chance of that happening before I die, so no need to read books.
