Ordered a new bike yesterday, Triumph Daytona 675R. Originally went to look at a 2nd hand one they had in but ended up going for a new one.
Ordered it with a few extras too:
Triumph crash mushrooms
Triumph tank pad
Triumph seat cowl
Double bubble screen
LED indicators front and back
Radiator guard
Just need to order a tail tidy and also deciding on which exhaust to get, not a fan of the standard one.
Getting it in March for 14 plate, can't wait now.
Same as this (minus the Arrow exhaust) -

When I read triumph, I imagined it being an old man bike, not that beast

That's the same bike I've got my eye on, I promised myself one this year but having just forked out for my teeth to be straightened and another ridiculous outlay this week, it's going to have to wait until later in the year or early next. I took a 675R with race pipes out for a run and up to that point, I had my heart set on a Monster but since then, I'm set on the Daytona.

That looks awesome! Would never trust myself to get a bike like that, though.

Very nice choice that man.
Great little 3 cylinder engines and you get a lot of goodies with the R version, one of the best looking bikes out there I think to.

Welcome to the triple club
Great bikes. good tuning options. Be weary that they don't like top end revs a lot though. Sure it can be revved, but if its getting track action, shift up 500rpm below the redline, it hugely increases engine life (I really want a 675 as a trackbike, but can't beat jap for outright engine thrashings).
Can I ask, any reason you went for the trumpet over the MV F3?

MV F3 is a really nice looking bike. But I just couldn't see past one of these. My mind was made up straight away.

I was having a look at one the other day. I love the bike, but hate the red bit. That'd be the first thing changed for me.

I love the red on the R, same with the 11-12 R.
They had a 675SE in with an all blue frame. Looked good in pics, but I thought it was a bit much when I saw it in person.

Looks good, I looked at a Daytona when I was browsing for my 600, much older one though, thinking 2002. Had some serious presence though, felt huge

Not keen on the finish on those blue ones. The R is a much better bike (don't think the SE comes with Ohlins either?)
It won't be long before you fit the Arrow Let that triple breath and give off its true character.
tbh, I wouldn't want one as a road bike, too "ass high head down", but its a belting bike.
But they also hold their value. Even track bikes are still going for £4k+ for a shabby example and 5+ years old.

Just had the new 675R delivered this morning. Can't wait to get out on it now.
Tinted screen still to go on.
The wee man on the bike, he didn't like it
Hoping to get a paddock stand for it so I can get it up the side of the mini in to save space until the new garage gets built.

Very nice
I'd like a Carbon Diavel, but they are sixteen grand and I have no bike licence.
