I'm looking again for new cars and struggling my arse off, we've now got less of a requirement for space, it's really hard to pick what to buy.

If the Volvo sells for what I want, and the BMW too, we'll be looking at £23k to buy an every day car and a better track car than the BMW has been for us.

Every time I look, I find more options I'd be happy with, the everyday car list is currently 10 cars long and I'm sure it'll be longer tonight with no way of narrowing it down.

The main car will be somewhere between 17 and 20k depending on the car and the other one will change to suit.

Getting bored of looking now though, much harder with no specific requirements.

That's the problem, I was looking before and they're in that price range so that's even added to the list. Every time I see something I add it

I know an M3 gets suggested every time but I think a e92 will suit you perfectly.

The only RS6 is the V8 one and it's a bit old.

R34s are an old car for the money too.

The others I've also got on the list

Was looking at the Lexus last night, still a bit too much money.

S6 isn't an RS6, hate the way the M6 looks and hadn't considered a Jag

Not as bad as a Ferrari but I know what you're saying.

Depends on the Ferrari, but £2k for a clutch is just one of the bills to contend with. Good write up on PH about it IIRC

I kind of wanted something smaller but can't find anything which if think 'wow' about, it's all just high spec hot hatches but they're all not particularly powerful

Mk2 focus RS?? Plenty tuning potential for not a lot of cash. They'll hold there money as well.

Id love a Mk2 Focus RS. More so over the new one?! Weird.

But it certainly doesnt have the wow factor, being wrong wheel drive and having a 4pot motor and Mk1 Focus looks.
