While I am building my corsa I was in need of a car to get to work and other day to day things, so I picked myself up a lovely Leon Cupra

so ..... my brother borrows my car and gives it back like this:

Rather pissed off, but thankful everyone was OK

Jesus. I assume he was just third party on other cars so no money? Was it 'driver error'?

Yup, 3rd party only and no money. He was hit in the rear quarter on the motorway, span through two lanes at 70mph then through a row of trees backwards and down an embankment. Other car did not stop.

Yeah I'm a bit sceptical of that story too If I had a brother that did that to my car, I'd kill him

Can't see anybody making this up, you'd have to be pretty desperate for attention

Not sure about the lucky to walk away comments.

It was clearly quite a crash, if you forget about the fact the roof has been cut off, the sides look pretty intact, drivers window isn't even smashed.

It was on the A2 near Canterbury on Tues morning. My brother suffered two broken ribs and a broken shoulder blade. My insurance company already know, but I am not making a claim as I need my no claims bonus for when my corsa is back on the road.
My brother is buying me a new car today to avoid me breaking the rest of his ribs

It would cost more to buy it back, get it lifted and dropped off than what he would make back from selling the little that is probably salvageable.
