Where did you get it?
How much was it?

My eBay cable works but obviously you don't get many features with out paying for the full programme.

I'm tempted guy selling the hex key version on audi-sport.

I have always just used the eBay cable with the free version.

Wouldn't pay the price for the full version unless I was going to be making money from it, to expensive to just use on one car IMO.

Turns on a load of functions like come/leaving home lights, miles to empty, alarm beep, auto lock closure, remote full window closure, one touch indicators, data logging for air/fuel/timing, service light reset etc and also all fault code finding. Very good bit of kit tbh which all vw/Audi/skoda/seat dealers would charge a fortune for you to use.

Did you need something that only the genuine one will do? Or just want to support the developer?

Got fed up trying to get the cheap version to work, everyone says the proper one is hassle free.

Corrado is failing to idle when cold at the moment so hopefully it will help with that. Rather than paying a garage to hook it up once, would rather have it myself, Also they fetch good 2nd hand money, so can sell on in the future for a small loss.

What is it that the legit one can do over the clones? I never had a problem changing a setting, logging or doing anything like that. If anything, the wall wasn't the cable, it was the software seeing it wasn't legit, which there was a workaround for.

Told me: Idle Stabilization Valve, Open or Short to Ground.(n71)

Hardly any wiring to it, about 3 inches then it goes to the big connector for the whole engine loom, so could be something wrong with that somewhere.

Think its now running in some sort of cold map all the time, so when its warms it idles nearly 1000rpm. Does sound quite cool though when your waiting in traffic, but over fueling and exhaust is very poppy and bangy so can't be good.

It is brilliant. Can get all live feeds too, like all temperature (proper too, as sometimes faults can lead to the dash not displaying correctly.
Altering idle.
View boost pressure.
Change wash/wipe settings
Change headlight wash settings
Disable things like low washer fluid warning.
Remove ABS lights

Shit loads though!

Cheap one is different from the Chinese copies of the full version which everyone has.

I've had a couple over the years but they are old models now. If the software self updates, which it does even when you turn that feature off, it can kill the cable.
