Spending more and more time transporting bikes around in my car so toying with the idea of getting an estate...
so sensible choice would be something like this
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/volvo/v50/volvo-v50-d3-150-r-design-5dr/2017273
or a less sensible one like
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/volkswagen/passat/volkswagen-passat-b6-r36-estate--silver/2098261
was thinking of an rs4 but it would be top of my budget and would end up crying if I went wrong as the internet suggests big bills.....
or do I just keep the civic

Atleast now you have the choice to take your car on track and transport your bikes around. I'd imagine buying an estate would be saying goodbye to track days?

The Volvo 5cyl diesel engines can be mapped for ridiculous amounts of torque
Edit, the 175bhp verison, with an exhaust fitted can make 255bhp and 630nm of torque with a map

Yep it's pretty good
Practical too. Never seem to use it though and Mrs is finally learning to drive, there's no way she's going to be driving this.

Saw a Vectra VXR Estate in Hardon Blue yesterday. Looked immense.
Then a brand new RS6 estate went by in red. Ooooft.

if I got one it would be a derv
which engine is that? 2.0 one?
They do a really frugal 1.6 derv which I could be tempted by if I keep the civic too. Not if its an only car though as I bet its slow as fuck
