...I painted the garage white.

So I can put this away in it.

Picked it up last Monday night. It's a 182, which I think according to the internet means it's got about 118bhp or something . It's got both Cup packs, some crappy lowering springs which are yellow and make it bounce like something from a hip hop music video, and a Ktec racing cat back exhaust.

Since picking it up, it's been serviced by some fat bald guy dressed like a blackcurrant

and at the same time I fitted a Pipercross panel filter and a Samco inlet elbow.

The oil was ok after the service...

The stripes are off, they were peeling on the roof, around the edges so I struggled for about 3 hours last night with a heat gun, tar remover and a clay bar to remove all the glue and crap left behind.

Much better!

So... The wife won some seats on eBay for an absolute bargain price in my opinion

Considering I was after Recaro Pole Positions, which look exactly like these, I'm well happy.

I've also just won some wheels on eBay, Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2s in white, not my first choice but I don't want to spend Speedline money and at the money I've paid for a brand new set, I can't complain too much.

Just about to start looking for coilovers, then I'll get it all together and start using it properly.

Nice robin.

Is that not a proper cup though? Has the pikey seats and no headlamp washers so I think it is.

Not sure. I don't know if they ever say 'Cup' on the logbook and I don't really know how to tell.

It's definitely got the Cup spoiler and it's definitely got the Cup suspension. It also says Cup on the doors and like you say, it's got poverty seats so maybe it is?

It's going to be a track car, yes. The seats actually have sliders on them, even though they're side mounted, pretty good setup really!

Road legal.

Plans are fairly sensible, wheels and tyres, coilovers, the seats, steering wheel and some decent pads to begin with, along with some matched inlets for a few bhp more, then after that, probably 4 pot front brakes and a half decent cage but nothing more than that.

That is a Clio182 Cup.

No xenons and pov spec seats. Did these even have "cup packs" as I'm pretty sure it came with them. Suspension&splitter/spoiler

Great car and fantastic buy. Well done Robin

Cup packs are mentioned all the time in for sale ads so I assumed! I'm not really clued up on it to be honest, was a but of a spur or the moment buy, drove to Essex on a Monday night and got back home at about 11.30, I'm sure it'll bite me in the arse for not doing my research beforehand.

It is a cup hence the no leather and no xenons. Probly won't have climate control either, just regular heater controls? Also cups don't have the plastic engine cover.

Although the cup splitter is missing by the looks of it. And also for some reason it doesn't have the RenaultSport steering wheel? Should be part leather with a silver "renaultsport" trim at the bottom.

One of the best colours, still seem to hold a lot more money than the usual black/silver etc.

Make sure cambelt has been done by a NASA technician.

The later ones just have the standard Clio steering wheel.

Looks smart Robin, either get some Cooksport or Eibach springs put on it.

Nothing booked yet but we've got some msv vouchers so I think we are going to do quite a few. Oulton definitely and I think Rockingham, Cadwell again and I really fancy Anglesey.
