Mushrooms just taste like solidified water to me, pretty tasteless... I'll have them, but not as the 'main' ingredient, just in other things.

Olives, I hate... but I do like olive tapenade!

Button mushrooms maybe but there are that many different varieties with intense flavour there is no way they are all tasteless.

I like them but only lightly fried or raw so they still have some texture, rather than a slimy black reduction of mushroom that most people do.
