My GSI has been declared cat D by my insurance company after being stolen. This is not the end of the world, all you need to do is get it VIC checked by VOSA and then tax, MOT and insure it. DVLA will not issue a new log book (V5) until it has been VIC checked. So if you have received a log book then you don't need to do anything at all.
A cat D write off does not need to be much damage on these as the value is so low now, just having to replace the GSi front bumper caused mine to be a cat D !!!

Won't make any difference whatsoever. If you didn't do a check you wouldn't even of known. Cat D doesn't need any VIC check. Just insure it, mot and drive it as normal. I take it you have the logbook?
Looks nice by the way.

I'd get that fixed but from an insurance or legal point of view being a cat D doesn't change anything so just forget about that and realise that the majority of corsa Bs will of had a bump in it's life.

Don't take this the wrong way but it sounds like a death trap mate. It's a cat d for a reason! Now, if it were just a bumper that it had needed then fine, but driving a car with a bent wheel and strut top, that "pulls like a bitch" will only end in disaster. I hope you never need to use the "pulls like a bitch" excuse when it veers into oncoming traffic and kills someone's family. Get shot of it or fix it properly and don't be a dick.

pulls to the left not that makes anything okay and i have looked at getting this repaired a number of times and as far as they can tell its been repaired to the best it can. i wouldnt use it pulls as an excuse, ive been driving it now for 8 months like this and it hasnt really bothered me. people may see it as a death trap but its my first car and im not looking to change it as i have fack all money due to working min wages and having to use most of that elsewhere

Sorry mate but this doesn't sound like it's been fixed the best it can! Something somewhere is bent or damaged and hasn't been fixed! If it was fixed it wouldn't be cracked or sitting 3 inches out of line. I'd be very surprised if the car is actually road worthy, and just because it's got an mot doesn't mean it is road worthy. Sounds bloody dangerous to me.
